An original 11″ x 14″ photograph of The Doors’ Jim Morrison (with Robby Kreiger in the background) at The Roundhouse in London, September 1968, taken by legendary photographer Ethan Russell. This was the Doors only UK appearance in 1968 and was filmed and broadcast by ITV Television (and later released on DVD as “The Doors Are Open.”) This is a hand printed photograph, 11″ x 14″ in mint condition, with Russell’s studio stamp on the reverse.
Ethan Russell is the only photographer to have shot album covers for The Beatles (Let It Be), The Rolling Stones (Get Your Ya-Ya’s Out), and The Who (Who’s Next) He also photographed Janis Joplin, Eric Clapton, Traffic, Cream and many other notables. A beautiful original print of a classic image.
